This cowl combines two of my favorite elements: openwork/lacy patterning and an angora yarn. Seraphim, the later release from Bijou Basin Ranch, is perfect at showing off stitch definition and is amazingly soft against the skin. Made with only one ball of yarn the Fir Tree Cowl is the perfect pattern to try something new.

I used a lace weight mohair yarn that was super soft and showed the pattern nicely.
This is an easy pattern that you can either knit flat or in the round. The end result is a feminine, light, spring cowl that is perfect for cooler days but without the bulk.
I liked this pattern so much I made two.
